General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The uterine ultrasound indicates tumor of fundal region with size of 2.1 X 2.0 cm. This tumor does not resolve with therapy and if symptomatic with heavy menses or pain, one has to get removed it surgically or laparoscopically. PCOS can be managed with hormone therapy for a period of time which will help you to prevent pregnancy as well.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
